Shinola / Holiday

Shinola Detroit, 2016

Holiday installations in both New York and Detroit of towering structures inspired by minimalist sculpture from the mid-sixties. The pieces were constructed from recycled packaging, copper paper, and LED cells. The system in Detroit was designed to be floor standing. Tribeca was suspended from the ceiling. Hollow PVC tube runs throughout the system providing rigid support while also supplying access for wiring. Photography by Tom Sibley.
